A young mechanics and machine builder from the 22th century. With his cleverness, he manage to build a machine that can allow its user to transport between dimension. Accident happen when the test run. The opened portal throw him into another earth where humans & pokemons live together. He was saved by a Golurk because he is falling from the sky. Soon, Grey learned about the Pokemon world and got info that the only creature who can get him back into the earth once he was living is the Legendary Pokemon Palkia. No one know where the current location of Palkia. Only the strong trainers know the location. And there's only one place where the strong trainers gather. The IPL that held at the Challenge Island. So, without wasting time, Grey upgrading Golurk into more advanced Machine. After that, Grey and Golurk travel to the Challenge Island. Later after his fight with FR Brothers' CODE-X, he got an idea for a new battle armor based on that cyborg bee. And he named his armor CODE-X as a tribute.

Pokemon(s) :
1. ROCKMAN X9 - GOLURK
Preferred Move : Proton eh Flash Cannon, Uni ups Hyper Beam, Fly, Earthquake.
This Golurk is the luckiest Golurk in the world, because his encounter with Grey Liong have made him into the most powerful Golurk ever. The seal that sealed Golurk full power is also made into a medium to use that full power. After enhanced and upgraded by Grey, he was given the name ROCKMAN X9. A tribute by Grey for Megaman X, his most favourite Mega series. Grey is sad when he know that Megaman X8 is the last for the series. (Although he is also a big fan of Megaman, Megaman Zero, Megaman ZX & Advent, Megaman Battle Network, Megaman Star Force. But he feel that Megaman X saga got the best gameplay, except X7 of course)

2. OMNIGEAR - KLINKLANG
Preferred Move : Gear Grind, Autotomize, Shift Gear, Zap Cannon.
OMNIGEAR got the same luck with ROCKMAN X9. He is once a helping Pokemon in a gear shop, but got thrown out because just one little mistake. After helping Grey building his battle armor CODE-X, Klinklang was rewarded with upgrade that made him into the deadliest Klinklang ever, thus changing his name into the OMNIGEAR.

3. STONE LEE - SAWK
Preferred Move : Focus Energy, Counter, Close Combat, Reversal
Grey meet him in a town where the World Strongest Fighter. After his lost to FR Brothers' HAMMERDIN, Stone was beat up by his trainer other pokemons as the punishment because his trainer lost huge amount money in the bet. In his dying condition, Grey ask Stone if he want to avenge his trainer, he can join Grey's team.

4. DEATH BRINGER a.k.a. DANGER - REUNICLUS
Preferred Move : Psychic, Dizzy Punch, Psyshock, Explosion.
DANGER is an assasssin of SNATCHERS' (the same organization where FR Brothers' SHADE come from.) His mission is eliminate Grey Stark and acquire his Iron Man armor. Too bad, when Grey sleeping he is always guarded by ROCKMAN X9. X9 manage to beat down DANGER. Then Grey capture it with Technoball, a new pokeball that is more powerful than Masterball.

5. HOLLOWCLAUST a.k.a. HOLLA - CHANDELURE
Preferred Move : Flame Burst, Fire Blast, Flamethrower, Energy Ball.
After DANGER's captured, SNATCHERS send another assassin, HOLLA. And too bad, he was captured faster than DANGER because Grey have readied for the attack.

6. CHEMICAL MONSTER a.k.a. MISTER - GARBODOR
Preferred Move : Toxic Spikes, Body Slam, Gunk Shot, Sludge Bomb.
With two of their best assassins captured , SNATCHERS send their last weapon, that even themselves can't control it, the CHEMICAL MONSTER. As soon as MISTER arrived at the small base where Grey are, it was already captured with Technoball.
